These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chopgrub Driver App (the “App”), provided by Chopgrub Logistics Limited (“Chopgrub”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By signing up as a driver or delivery company, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.

• Individual drivers must provide valid identification, driver’s license, and vehicle details.

• Delivery companies must provide proof of business registration and authorized representatives.

• You must comply with all transport, safety, and regulatory laws.

2. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and wallet PIN.

• Delivery companies may create staff/driver sub-accounts, but remain responsible for their actions.

• Chopgrub may suspend or terminate accounts for false information or misconduct.

3. Use of the App

• Drivers may use the App to:

• Go online/offline to receive orders

• Accept and complete deliveries

• Track earnings and manage payouts

• Delivery companies may:

• Add/manage drivers

• Assign or reassign delivery orders

• View staff earnings and performance metrics

4. Orders & Deliveries

• Once a driver accepts an order, it must be picked up and delivered promptly.

• Drivers must handle customer orders with care and professionalism.

• Failure to complete a delivery may result in penalties, reduced earnings, or suspension.

5. Payments & Wallet

• Chopgrub collects payments on behalf of drivers and credits their Driver Wallet (or company wallet for delivery companies).

• Payouts to bank accounts are subject to:

• A processing fee (₦100 per payout unless otherwise specified)

• Settlement timelines shown in the App

• Wallet balances are not bank accounts and do not earn interest.

• Chopgrub may deduct commissions and service fees before payouts.

6. Commissions & Fees

• By using the App, drivers/delivery companies agree to the platform commission rate.

• Delivery company drivers operate under the company’s commission agreement.

• Chopgrub may revise commission structures with notice.

7. Driver Obligations

• Maintain valid licenses, roadworthy vehicles, and insurance where required.

• Act respectfully towards customers and merchants.

• Avoid fraudulent practices (fake trips, false delivery claims, account sharing, etc.).

• Immediately report incidents, accidents, or disputes to Chopgrub.

8. Cancellations & Penalties

• Drivers who cancel or fail to complete accepted deliveries may face reduced order priority, penalties, or account suspension.

• Chopgrub may deduct refund amounts from driver/company wallets where applicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Chopgrub provides the platform and order-matching service but does not control driver behavior.

• Chopgrub is not responsible for accidents, theft, or damage caused during deliveries.

• Our liability is limited to commissions earned from the disputed transaction.

10. Privacy & Data

• Drivers agree to Chopgrub’s Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect and use your data.

• Location data may be tracked while you are online for order allocation and safety.

11. Termination

• Chopgrub may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Breach of these Terms

• Fraudulent or illegal activity

• Unsafe or unprofessional behavior

• Drivers/companies may close their account after settling pending transactions.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

• Disputes will be resolved by arbitration in Abuja under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

13. Amendments

• Chopgrub may update these Terms periodically.

• Continued use after notice of updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.
